Spinning Gauge
A Spinning Gauge (or Yarn Gauge, Control Card, Wraps Per Inch tool, or WPI) is an awesome tool that is useful for measuring your yarn and help your spinning stay consistent.
You can use this Spinning Gauge to determine the weight of your handspun yarn, or to identify the weight of a skein that has lost its label so it can be used on your next project.
The gauge uses two colors - your chosen filament color on top of a base color.
The Spinning Gauge is pictured in Blue - Green dual color/color change filament with a black base, Black filament with a white base, and White filament with a black base. To check our available colors, or to order a filament sample, click here.
